Burial & Funeral
Terminal care
If you are caring for someone at home or if a relative is in a care facility, we would be happy to come for a pastoral visit. When the time comes to die, we offer to accompany you and the dying person and, if you wish, to celebrate house communion together. Just give us a call!
If someone died - what to do?
Feel free to give us a call. We are here for you. If you wish, we can also arrange a blessing service in the funeral home before the undertaker comes. The undertaker arranges many things.
We will visit you to discuss the funeral service with you. If you wish, you can choose the hymns and a Bible text for the funeral service yourself.
Funeral service in chapel, crematorium or church?
Funerals usually take place in the cemetery chapels, crematoria or in farewell rooms in natural cemeteries. If a particularly large number of visitors are expected at the funeral service, it is possible to use one of "our" churches for the funeral service or to rent it in consultation with the respective host church community.
